SPOCK'S LOCKS FORMAT - Favorite w/Spread on top - Underdog w/Under-Over in parenthesis

Week 10 saw the top 2 teams win and the battle for 3rd and 4th is getting tight. This week the "VIKINGS" are off this week so remember that when considering your lineup choices this week.

In other league news, I had a busy week so nothing new has been added to the web. Coming soon-will be a bit more to the history section (lifetime records-if I can find all the data I need). Point your favorite browser (Netscape works better than MS-IE) to http://www.50megs.com/users2/ksmalley/. I am running out of ideas to improve the site. I've had a couple of requests and will probably be working on them next. Getting your notes by E-Mail is cheaper and quicker, I will never understand why there isn't more interest in it.

Key Match-Ups to Watch this Week.

This week we repeat the schedule for week 2. So the Mac Attack will try to avenge their 2 pt. loss to the M. Takers. The Takers have to face a week without the VIKINGS and they have an awful lot of the Purple on their team. The Sharks will try to climb back in the Elite using the Black Revenge as a stepping stone. The Revenge is waiting to unleash their new acquired weapon and this could be the week. The Storm will try to avenge their 1 point loss to the Hammer Heads. The Storm will try to recover from this week's loss and jump back up in the mix. The Bulldogs and Jelly Beans repeat their match-up of cousins and uncles. The Beans eked out the "W" in the first match up. The Dogs are now in 2nd place despite an extremely low point total. The Dream team will try to maintain their hold on 1st place against the 2-time defending champion Black & Blue Attack.

Spock was 4-5 this week making him 25-40 (63%) on the season and he regained top billing. Norm was 2-5 this week making him 24-40 (60%) on the season his lines appear below:

   MT  -3 MA (95)     JB   -1 BD (95)
   BR  -1  S (98)     DT -10 BB (105)
   HH  -2 QS (97)

Only one game was final after Sunday. In two games, the only players on Monday were in the winning team's lineup. In one game the winning team had built up a pretty insurmountable lead. In the last game we had some "Monday Night" madness and the "GOW".

The Dream Team doubled the Quiet Storm's score as the Dream Team swept the season series. The Dream Team was lead by Eddie George, a solid Kitna performance and some steady WR scoring. Warner put up "Human" numbers and Moss

had a decent day for the Storm but there just wasn't enough support.

The M. Takers completed the sweep against the Black revenge, with Allen in the pocket. The Takers ended a 3 game losing streak with strong performances by George and the RAMS. The Revenge put up decent numbers, but just could bot keep up with the Takers this week. The Revenge will have to put on a strong late-season performance to get up in the Elite.

The Bulldogs continue to astound as they locked up another win against the Hammer Heads and still had Vinatieri in reserve. The Dogs have are 9th in scoring, but are 2nd where it counts. The Bull Dogs were led by Westbrook. The Heads have yet to solve their QB problem and they are running out of time.

The Jelly Beans and a 33 pt. lead were too much for the Black & Blue Attack and Curtis Martin to overcome. The Beans got good performances out of Johnson, Crowell and Faulk as they avenged their season-opening loss. The Black & Blue Attack had a fine performance by Cris Carter wasted as Brunnell reverted to early season form. Is the RAVENS defense that good?

The "Game of the Week" goes to the contest between the Mac Attck and Sharks. The Mac Attack, JETS and an 8 pt. lead were too much for the Sharks and Glenn to overcome. The Attack avenged their week 1 loss in which they scored 70 points but lost. In the re-match the defenses decided to show up. The Attack was led by Duce and Robinson. Neither of these players was even on the Mac Attack roster for the week 1 encounter. The Sharks got points out of Harrison (as they have all year), but the rest of the team came up shot and the Sharks have now lost 3 in a row. The Sharks have had a lot of problems week 8 and on in both seasons. Bone you've got to consider going a bit easier in the pre-season.

Dream Team (Norm):
"Rams Win, Dream Team Wins. Like I said, back on the winning track. P.S. To my sons: Good luck, but you won't win the Title. You'll have to settle for 2nd."
