The M. Takers played spoiler against the Dream Team. The Storm had pretty much eliminated the Takers from the Elite when the Taker players came alive. The RAMS & Terry Allen scored late TD's, but the killer score came when Robert Smith broke off a 70 yard run with some pretty shoddy tackling at the end of the play. The essentially 26-point play put Dream Team in serious danger. The Dream Team shook up the lineup a bit to get out of their funk, but it did no good. The Dream Team after spending a large portion of the year in 1st place is in serious danger of finishing in 4th.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Dream Team will try to repeat their earlier performance against the M. Takers and set up a Week 17 "Super Bowl" game with the Bull Dogs. The Takers need to win and some help to stay alive.

The Predictions/History:

  Norm:    Dream Team   51      M. Takers    47
  Spock:   Dream Team   50      M. Takers    41

  Week 7:  Dream Team   52      M. Takers    45

The Jelly Beans, lead by Faulk & Johnson, put up big points against the Black Revenge. The same story for the Revenge, no defense, as they once again gave up over 60 pts. The Revenge has a chance at giving up 1,000 pts. on the year, which is harder than scoring 1,000 pts. on the year and a lot less desirable.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Jelly Beans and Black Assassins square off in the battle of the "eliminated".

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Jelly Beans    46      Black Revenge  43
Spock:   Jelly Beans    49      Black Revenge  46

The Hammer Heads, after finally settling on a QB, handed the Sharks another loss. The Sharks faded a lot earlier this year and this time it cost them an Elite spot. The Heads came on strong late, but it was too la te. The Heads were led by Beuerlein and Gary. The Heads would probably go undefeated if all their players, played on Saturday.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Sharks and Hammer Heads face off in what is all but an elimination game. Whoever loses will be eliminated in practicality if not in reality.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Hammer Heads  46      Sharks        43
Spock:   Hammer Heads  45      Sharks        42

The Quiet Storm pretty much clinched a Elite spot and stopped the Bull Dogs improbable march to the Title. The Storm was led by FA of the year Kurt Warner. In a year where there were a lot of great free-agent pic kups (RAMS, Jeffers, Kev. Johnson, Vanderjagt Connell, Crowell-to name a few), none compares to King Warner. The Dogs can still wrap up the title with a "W" over Dad. Speaking of the father-son relationship in this last game, Norm, can't you ground your so ns if they don't put in their worse lineup possible.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Bull Dogs can wrap up the title with a win against the Quiet Storm and a loss by the Dream Team. The Storm can virtually wrap up the last Elite spot with a win, because of their high point total.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Quiet Storm  47      Bull Dogs    44
Spock:   Bull Dogs    46      Quiet Storm  44

Week 7:  Bull Dogs    36      Quiet Storm  24

The "Game of the Week" goes to the contest between the Mac Attack and Black & Blue Attack. In the 2nd edition of the "Attack" bowl, the Mac Attack built up large lead going into Monday night and still had Mare, J.J. and the DOLPHINS. The Black & Blue still had the Martin brothers. The Mac Attack prevailed mainly due to large games by James and Jeffers. The Mac Attack has to win and root for the Dream Team to capture a title.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The "red hot" Black & Blue Attack will take on the Mac Attack in the 2nd annual "Attack" bowl. The Black & Blue need a win ad help to jump back into the Elite. The Mac Attack must win to avoid elimination from the Title race, their point total practically guarantees them an Elite spot.

The Predictions/History:

Norm:    Black & Blue  46      Mac Attack    45
Spock:   Mac Attack    55      Black & Blue  46

  Week 7:  Mac Attack    53      Black & Blue  35
