The M. Takers completed the sweep against the Black revenge, with Allen in the pocket. The Takers ended a 3 game losing streak with strong performances by George and the RAMS. The Revenge put up decent numbers, but just could bot keep up with the Takers this week. The Revenge will have to put on a strong late-season performance to get up in the Elite.

The Pre-Game Hype:

This week the Black Revenge will try to avenge their week 1 loss against the M. Takers. The Revenge is on a 2-game winning streak, has added Galloway to their mix and now has Taylor back. They look like they are ready for a second-half s urge.

The Predictions:

  Norm:    Black Revenge 47      M. Takers     44
  Spock:   M. Takers     45      Black Revenge 37

The "Game of the Week" goes to the contest between the Mac Attck and Sharks. The Mac Attack, JETS and an 8 pt. lead were too much for the Sharks and Glenn to overcome. The Attack avenged their week 1 loss in which they scored 70 points but lost. In the re-match the defenses decided to show up. The Attack was led by Duce and Robinson. Neither of these players was even on the Mac Attack roster for the week 1 encounter. The Sharks got points out of Harrison (as they have all year), but the rest of the team came up shot and the Sharks have now lost 3 in a row. The Sharks have had a lot of problems week 8 and on in both seasons. Bone you've got to consider going a bit easier in the pre-season.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Sharks and Mac Attack match up in a replay of one of the higher scoring games this year (they both topped 70 pts. in Week 1). The Sharks are not in the Elite for the first time ever, and they are looking to rectify that immediately. The Mac Attack, after a brief stint in 2nd have dropped to 3rd but their point total is still working for them.

The Predictions:

Norm:    Sharks     51      Mac Attack 49
Spock:   Mac Attack 53      Sharks     49

The Bulldogs continue to astound as they locked up another win against the Hammer Heads and still had Vinatieri in reserve. The Dogs have are 9th in scoring, but are 2nd where it counts. The Bull Dogs were led by Westbrook. The Heads have yet to solve their QB problem and they are running out of time.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Bulldogs and Hammer Heads will replay their tighly matched contest in week 1. The Bulldogs won by 1 pt and since then their seasons have been heading in opposite directions. What a difference 1 point can make.

The Predictions:

Norm:    Hammer Heads 46      Bulldogs     44
Spock:   Bulldogs     39      Hammer Heads 34

The Dream Team doubled the Quiet Storm's score as the Dream Team swept the season series. The Dream Team was lead by Eddie George, a solid Kitna performance and some steady WR scoring. Warner put up "Human" numbers and Moss had a decent day for the Storm but there just wasn't enough support.

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Storm will try to exact a little revenge for their week 1 beating by the Dream Team. The Storm didn't have Warner in week 1 and the Storm is hot, where the Dream team is starting to show some cracks in the armor.

The Predictions:

Norm:    Dream Team  57      Quiet Storm 48
Spock:   Dream Team  53      Quiet Storm 44

The Jelly Beans and a 33 pt. lead were too much for the Black & Blue Attack and Curtis Martin to overcome. The Beans got good performances out of Johnson, Crowell and Faulk as they avenged their season-opening loss. The Black & Blue Attack had a fine performance by Cris Carter wasted as Brunnell reverted to early season form. Is the RAVENS defense that good?

The Pre-Game Hype:

The Black & Blue Attack will try to repeat their whooping of the Jelly Beans in week 1. The season was fresh and new and the two-time Defending Champs looked like they would continue where they left off. Oh well first impressions ca n be misleading. The Beans will try to recover from the loss in week 9 and get another streak going.

The Predictions:

Norm:    Jelly Beans  46      Black & Blue 43
Spock:   Black & Blue 48      Jelly Beans  47
